A quarter of our budgeted expenses includes donating to small sanctuaries & rescues. Additionally, we donate a portion of our quarterly profits as well. This allows us to stay true to our mission by helping pups (and other animals!) in need, at least financially, while we work towards creating our own sanctuary.
The Animal Welfare Association (AWA) is not just any local shelter, but it is where we first met Andrew. AWA is very near and dear to our hearts. We currently sponsor dogs we would typically take into the sanctuary each month.
We were able to comfortably donate $500 to Sarama Animal Rescue at the end of September in 2024! After 11 years of hard work and dedication, Laura, the Founder and Executive Director, was recently able to move into her sanctuary property. Despite a few costly setbacks upon moving in, Laura and Sarama Animal Rescue are still kicking butt and helping the beings we love most– animals! Laura is an inspiration to us all here at Poopy Doo’s, reminding us to stay the course on our own journey to our sanctuary no matter how tough things may get. Thank you, Laura for all that you do for the animals, and for inspiring others!
We were able to comfortably donate $500 to Ferret & Friends Sanctuary at the end of December in 2024! They recently had several unexpected medical emergencies including the removal of a sanctuary dog's eye and the intake of five ferrets. We started our partnership with Homeward Bound in February of 2025. We started out by sponsoring their Super Bowl TAILgate event and will continue this partnership by sponsoring pups we would typically take into our sanctuary. We are so grateful for this partnership and are excited to see where it will take us!
