Queen is a 4-year-old pittie who has been at Homeward Bound in Blackwood, NJ for over a year! Queen is a sweet girl who is not meant for the shelter environment. In true pit fashion, she will be the most loving and loyal companion, all she needs is a place to call home so her true colors can shine.
Queen is a playful girl & loves the water! She is food motivated and eager to learn. Queen should be the only dog in her new home, & should also be with children 12 & up.
Brisket is currently Animal Welfare Association's longest resident and has been at AWA since January. He is a one-year-old medium sized retriever/lab mix. He is said to be a sweet guy with a whole lot of love to give! He is another staff favorite that, once he gets to know you, will be the most loyal companion.
Our 2nd Annual Rainbow Bridge 5K & Walk is happening on Saturday, August 23rd at Cooper River Park! We are kicking this year off with a 5K at 8:00AM.
Our Memorial Walking path (1 mile), vendors, DJ, 50/50, Basket Auction, and other activities will be available from 9:00AM - 2:00PM!
Although our event is open to the public, registration closes on Saturday, August 2nd! If you would like to ensure you receive an event t-shirt, or if you are running the 5K, you MUST register.
